Welcome to the town of Quinton, a small town in the heart of southeast Oklahoma where we enjoy a slower pace of living and a sense of belonging within our community.
Whether you live here or are planning a visit, you are sure to enjoy all the adventure this area has to offer. We are perfectly located between Wilburton (25 min), Eufaula (25 min), and Mcalester (30 min). There are so many opportunities for outdoor fun almost all year long. WHERE TO GO & THINGS TO DO
TWIN MOUNTAINS located just outside of Quinton
For those that prefer more excitement nothing beats four-wheeling the off roads of Twin Mountains. They are open 9a-dark every weekend for 4-wheel drive vehicles, ATV’s and UTV’s. They have 5 cabins and some primitive camping sites.
JAMES COLLINS WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT located just outside of Quinton.
ROBBERS CAVE STATE PARK located just outside of Wilburton (13 miles)
The park is a high-traffic tourist attraction all summer long with camping, fishing, trail riding, rock climbing, and swimming.
TRUE GRIT RV PARK located 1.8 miles from Twin Mountains Off-Road Park in Quinton. Electric and water hook-ups. They have 37 sites.
EUFAULA LAKE 12 miles away (Brooken Cove)
Eufaula is a quaint little town full of boutiques and delicious eats, as well as the main attraction: the lake. The lake has several landings for swimming, boating and camping.
WILBURTON 21 miles away
Boutique shopping and groceries.
MCALESTER 30 miles away
Wal-Mart, boutiques and lots of eating out opportunities.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. NEW BILL PAY WEBSITE
Pay portal will close January 24th @ 5pm and will reopen Febuary 3rd. We accept checks, debit cards and credit cards now.
2. Quinton Roll-Off Days
Roll-off dates will be February 8th and February 22nd . Remember no tires and no batteries. Must have water bill as proof of residency to use the roll-off. Dates are subject to change.
3. WATER DEPARTMENT CLOSURES
February 17th for Presidents Day.
4. WATER METER
Water meters are read on the 15th or around the 15th of each month, remember if you damage the meter or the antenna you are responsible for it.
5. Smoke testing will be rescheduled for a later date.
6. Please let me know of any important events that are happing here in Quinton and I will get them posted.

As of September 1, 2024 all water bills must be paid in full before the cut off date. We will no longer be rolling water bills over.
